Effects of TeV Scale Gravity on e+e− → W+W−
We study the process e+e− → W+W− to probe low-scale gravity at high energy linear colliders. A characteristic signature of extra-dimensions models is the forward-backward asymmetry due to the interference of spin2 graviton and spin-1 SM gauge boson exchange terms, even when rightpolarised electron beam is used. Our analysis shows that larger than 5% asymmetry is possible at a linear collider wi...
متن کاملThe Effect of Social Group Work Intervention on Therapeutic Adherence of Patients with Severe Psychiatric Disorders, a Group Work Report
Introduction: Medication adherence has an essential role in good clinical outcome in the treatment of chronic psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder and prevents psychiatric readmission. Medication non-adherence is prevalent among more than fifty percent of patients with chronic psychotic disorders. If a patient stops taking the medicine, the ...
متن کاملF/W e+e- INTERACTIONS*
INTRODUCTION The field of e+e-interactions has provided a great deal of excitement in the past few years. 1-9 Primarily, interest has centered around the reaction +-ee-hadrons. This reaction is particularly attractive because we believe in electromagnetic perturbation theory, which implies that the cross section for hadron production is dominated by one photon annihilation of the electron and p...
متن کاملOn e + e − → W + W − → 4f(+γ) at LEP2 ∗
The results on ee → WW → 4f(+γ) obtained by different groups are compared with each other. Differences in the results for the total cross section of up to about 0.6 % are traced back to different ways of implementing the double-pole approximation. Suppported by the BMFT, Bonn, Germany, Contract 05 HT9PBA2
